By contracting early, your gets the first pick of spaces among residence halls. 

Upperclassmen Advantage

Specific rooms are set aside if you wish to be part of the on-campus residential experience again.

Gibson and Gregson Halls are about 80% upperclassmen. These historic buildings are located at the top of Dickson Street, the energetic entertainment district of Fayetteville. 

These halls are neighbors to Brough Dining Hall, Starbucks, Slim Chickens and the Greek Theatre. Nearby Duncan Avenue Apartments offer independent living on campus and the convenience of once-a-semester billing.

Convenience

By living on campus, you have the convenience of not worrying about a daily commute or parking your car. Multiple meal options exist at our dining facilities and on-campus restaurants, which adds to the convenience of walking to class.

Residence halls are designed to maximize student safety and offer on-call staff who are available at all times. Our campus enjoys its own police force. Their motto is “Protecting and Serving the Future of Arkansas.” University Police embrace this duty. 

Housing rates are charged to your account. There is only one student bill for on-campus students. Financial aid and scholarships are seamlessly applied toward housing costs.

Our Newest Hall

University Housing offers a new 708-bed hall this fall called Stadium Drive Residence Halls. It is located on the south side of campus near Pomfret Hall and offers suite and traditional-style living.

Creativity and innovation are a focal point of this community. It boasts a recording studio, indoor and outdoor performance areas, music practice rooms and more. Also, our Living Learning Communities (LLCs) for several creative disciplines like architecture, English, and theatre live there.

Success

Students living on campus boast a 3.2 Grade Point Average (GPA). These students are also 89% more likely to attend the university for another year, according to university research. That is statistically ahead of the average off-campus student.
