The Emerging Leaders program challenges students to learn about themselves through an 8-week curriculum designed to develop effective leadership qualities. Through hands-on and critical thinking activities, the program strives to create an environment where students can grow independently as well as find their niche within the university. This program will assist in the application of leadership to everyday life, and student participants will learn a great deal about themselves, their peers, and the University throughout the semester. The Emerging Leaders sessions are available on either Tuesday and Wednesday during the 8-week program.
The Emerging Leaders student application deadline is 3:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2021. You can apply online or find out more information about the program at the Emerging Leader’s website, leadership.uark.edu.
