Daylight savings ends this Sunday, so it will become darker earlier. As part of general safety suggestions, everyone is reminded to use caution when walking alone after dark. As a safety precaution, if you are going out, you are strongly advised to go out in groups or use the “buddy system,” call for an escort or use Safe Ride. Razorback Patrol Escort Service is available Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. and provides escorts on campus. Call 479-575-5000 or text 479-575-2222 for an escort. Police officers will provide escorts when Razorback Patrol Cadets are off duty. Requests for police escorts should be made by calling 479-575-2222.

Safe Ride is available Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. and provides service from anywhere in the Fayetteville city limits to your official residence as indicated in UA Connect. Contact Safe Ride by calling 479-575-SAFE (7233). Always be aware of your surroundings. Stay alert for anyone approaching you or your vehicle.
