The University of Arkansas Wildlife Society will be hosting a documentary screening of “Fortunate Wilderness: The Wolf and Moose Study of Isle Royale” on Monday, February 10th. This film follows the longest continuous predator-prey study ever conducted, the relationship between wolves and moose at Michigan’s Isle Royale National Park. Filmmaker George Desort spent over four years with researchers gathering material for the documentary. This event is free to all current University of Arkansas students and is funded by the Student Activities Fee. Refreshments will begin in Science and Engineering room 604 at 4:30pm to be followed by the documentary viewing from 5:00pm-6:00pm.
