Help-A-Hog Volunteer Have Answers

January 13, 2014 @ 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Do you have a class in a building you have never been in? Is this your first semester at the University of Arkansas? Students who are feeling lost on the first day of spring classes can get answers on campus from volunteers in the Help-A-Hog program. On Monday, Jan. 13, and Tuesday, Jan. 14, Help-A-Hog will set up eight information tables at strategic locations in high traffic areas around the center of campus. Students, faculty, and staff volunteer at tables from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to answer most first day questions.

Tables include notebooks containing class schedules, campus maps, parking & transit maps, a university phone directory, and general information about the academic colleges. Students needing information can also tweet their questions to @UARKHelpAHog.
