DEADLINE: Parent Ambassador Recruitment

Parent & Family Programs is now accepting applications for Parent Ambassadors! Parent Ambassadors are undergraduate students who assist Parent & Family Programs in their mission to support parents throughout their student’s college transition. Whether it’s staffing Family Weekend, writing an article for the Razorback Parent e-Newsletter or informing parents about parent related services and events at Orientation.As a Parent Ambassador, responsibilities can include:
• Assisting with Family Weekend, Spring Family Reunion, New Student Welcome, Move-In Events, etc.
• Assisting with the Parent and Family Programs information sessions held during New Student Orientation.
• Representing the UofA and Parent & Family Programs at area events like Regional Parents Clubs or Student Send-Offs.
• Answering parent and family related questions via e-mail or phone calls.
• Writing a monthly column for the Razorback Parent e-Newsletter.
Parent Ambassadors are compensated with a $750 stipend for their work between February – October 2014. Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
