The Butler starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey in UP Video Theater
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.—University Programs presents the African American History Movie Series starting with The Butleron February 6, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the UP Video Theater at the University of Arkansas Union.
This event is free to current University of Arkansas Fayetteville students who pay the student activities fee. Students must show ID for entrance. Admission for general public and non-fee-paying students is contingent upon seating availability and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis after fee-paying students are admitted. The Butler will kick off African American history movie series and is followed by Winnie Mandela on February 13th, 42 on February 20th, and Jumping the Broom on February 27th. The Butler is inspired by a true story written by Lee Daniels. The film stars Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey and many more outstanding actors and actresses. Come step back in time as this movie tells a true story that will touch everyone’s hearts.
